On August 24, 2023, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, at the invitation of the Ambassador of Ukraine Valerii Yevdokymov, many guests came to the Embassy for an informal meeting of friends of Ukraine, in particular, the Ukrainian community of Tajikistan, the distinguished Ambassadors of the Delegation of the EU, India, Germany, Pakistan, the USA, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, France, Heads of the OSCE Programme Office, the UN Coordinator, the UN Development Program, the Aga Khan Development Network, representatives of the Embassies of Great Britain, China, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and heads of the news agencies "Radio Ozodi" and "Avesta".

The event featured a screening of the documentary film " Beyond the peace", produced by the Ukrainian creative team "TRO Media", in which the testimonies of residents of Irpen, Bucha, Borodyanka, Gostomel, Mykhailivka-Rubezhivka and other settlements of the Kyiv region regarding the facts of war crimes committed by the Russian army and their consequences.
