Today, August 23, 2023, the official ceremony of raising the National Flag of Ukraine took place at the Embassy of Ukraine. Nowadays, this day is not only our public holiday. Our flag has become a real symbol of indomitability and freedom, the struggle for freedom, which is known all over the world. The blue-yellow color of our flag is now recognized as the color of the indomitable human will in the struggle for freedom, the victory of good over evil and injustice, love over hate, life over death. Washed with the blood of our compatriots who stood up to defend our Motherland from the cruel and unjust aggression of russian imperialism, it proudly flies not only on Ukrainian state institutions, but also on combat positions and especially in the cities and villages liberated by our fighters in brutal battles with the enemy.

Today, as a sign of solidarity with the Ukrainian people, our friends in all corners of the world commemorate this Day, raise the Ukrainian flag to the sky, as an expression of support for human dignity and fighting spirit of Ukrainians.

Diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine in Tajikistan, together with representatives of the Ukrainian community, raised the Ukrainian flag to the sky on the rocks of the Fann Mountains. We believe and sincerely hope that soon its heavenly blue and solar goldenness will shine over the equally magical Crimean Mountains.
