Humanitarian cooperation between the two countries are especially actively developed in the field of education. Hundreds of Tajik young men and women are enrolled in prestigious higher educational institutions of Ukraine and obtain professional knowledge, which will be used in their Motherland.
Since the beginning of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Tajikistan the humanitarian cooperation is deepening between the states. In 2013, the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan on cooperation in the field of youth policy, as well as the Agreement on Cooperation between the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine and the State Committee for Television and Radio Broadcasting of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan were signed, that significantly intensifies cultural and humanitarian ties between the two nations.
An important step towards the development of bilateral relations was holding the Days of Culture of Ukraine in the Republic of Tajikistan from 24 to 27 of June 2013.
Ukrainian delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine T.G.Kohan within three days successfully demonstrated the concert of the best art collectives of Ukraine to the residents and guests of the Tajik capital.
Ukraine represented its National Academic Orchestra of folk instruments and vocal-instrumental ensemble "Drevlyans" in Tajikistan. The concert was also attended by the Ukrainian dancer O. Proskuryakova that masterfully performed Tajik dances.
Dushanbe audience had an opportunity to see classic movies of Ukrainian filmmakers "Chasing Two Hares" and "Only Old Men Are Going to Battle".
Days of Culture of Ukraine were held in the Republic of Tajikistan for the first time since joining the two states independence. Their implementation is regularly covered by local media and made public on a daily basis on the website of the Embassy and the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine.
It is assumed that the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tajikistan in Ukraine will be held in the second half of 2017.
