On February 22, the Ambassador of Ukraine Vasyl Servatiuk met with the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Mukhammadyusuf Imomzoda.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest.

In particular, the prospects for deepening Ukrainian-Tajik cooperation in the scientific and educational sphere, expanding opportunities for higher education for citizens of Tajikistan in Ukraine, and the prospects for internships and training of Ukrainian specialists in universities in Tajikistan, primarily in terms of language training: learning Persian, Dari, and, of course, the Tajik language, for which Tajikistan has an excellent educational and methodological base.

They also discussed the upcoming plans for the exchange of working visits at the level of the leadership of the Ministries of Education and Science of the two countries and the rector's office, the organization of an exhibition of educational opportunities of Ukraine in Dushanbe, the problems of scientific cooperation between Ukraine and Tajikistan, in particular, in the field of certification of scientific and scientific – pedagogical personnel.

The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan noted the high quality of Ukrainian education and gave a particularly warm assessment to the Tajik scientists who received scientific training within the walls of the Ukrainian temples of science.
