On May 6, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan Vasyl M. Servatiuk visited the city of Rogun.

During the trip, negotiations were held with the Mayor of the city Muzaffar Sulaimonzoda, as well as with the management of the Rogun hydroelectric power station, the construction of which is currently the most important strategic priority of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The parties noted their interest in further cooperation, in particular, they discussed possible ways of participation of Ukrainian enterprises in the development of the infrastructure of the city of Rogun and the Rogun district as a whole, in the process of further development of the Rogun HPP.

Within the framework of the visit, the Ambassador made a study trip to the Rogun HPP, the Ukrainian delegation was familiarized with the features of its composition and the progress of the construction process.

It is especially pleasant to note that both operating hydroelectric units of the RoHPP were produced in Ukraine, which is recorded on the corresponding commemorative plaques of these units installed in the HPP engine room in yellow and blue colors.
