On January 21, Ukrainian Ambassador Vasyl Servatіuk paid a working visit to the Institute of Border Troops of the State Security Committee of Tajikistan.

The Ambassador met with the leadership of the institute to get acquainted with its activities. It was especially pleasant to meet with the graduates of the Ukrainian State University named after B. Khmelnitsky. More than 50 officers were trained within the walls of our academy. Currently, they hold senior positions in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan. One of them is the first deputy head of the Institute. It was very pleasant to hear warm words about the academy, the residents of Khmelnitsky and, in general, about all Ukrainians.

Graduates still remember their commanders and teachers - A. Lutsky, E. Orlov, V. Mazur, the rector-B. M. Alekseenko. For them, they were and remain the model of a real officer. This is a real example of border diplomacy and the formation of a positive image of Ukraine.
