Diplomats of the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan, led by Ambassador Valerii Yevdokymov, together with foreign ambassadors and other representatives of the diplomatic corps, observed a moment of silence in memory of the victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine.
A mass was held in the Church of Saint Joseph in the city of Dushanbe, during which those present remembered the victims and prayed for the speedy restoration of a just peace in Ukraine.
In his address, the Ambassador of Ukraine noted: "Peace in Ukraine and Europe is possible, but only "peace through strength" - we need weapons and security guarantees. Concessions to the aggressor do not work - history has proven! The civilized world must be more courageous and decisive."
Ukrainians expressed gratitude to their defenders and partners for their support.

Dear ambassadors, colleagues, friends!
Ukrainians have been already resisting for 1,000 days. Even close partners gave us three days, then three weeks, three months...
After all, they believed in us.
The Second World War lasted 2194 days. Our defense has been going on for 3925 days - since February 20, 2014.
Every day and night, Russian missiles and Russian-Iranian drones fly over the heads of our families. Every day they kill people, destroy housing and infrastructure.
This war is bloody, savage, barbaric, genocidal. This war has no right to exist in the 21st century!
We believe in ourselves because we have only one way - to fight and win.
Peace in Ukraine and Europe is possible, but only "peace via strength" - we need weapons and security guarantees. Concessions to the aggressor do not work - proven by history! The civilized world must be braver and more decisive.
We are grateful to our defenders for the fact that we live and work!
