As part of a working trip to Sughd region, Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan Vasyl Servatyuk visited the free economic zone "Sughd". Sughd FEZ was established in 2008. It is a profitable platform for the development of international trade and production. Convenient location: 70 km to the border with Uzbekistan and 15 km to Kyrgyzstan. Of the 10 types of taxes provided for by the legislation of Tajikistan, FEZ subjects pay only two. There is a simplified registration procedure and a free customs zone. When exporting and exporting goods from/to the FEZ, there is an exemption from customs payments and taxes. The Ambassador of Ukraine got acquainted with the work of enterprises in the FEZ, many of them have ties with Ukraine and our enterprises. Almost all enterprises are set to expand trade and economic relations with Ukrainian enterprises.
