On October 18, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan Vasyl Servatiuk presented Credentials to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, by which Vasyl M. Servatiuk is accredited as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (concurrently, with the residence in Dushanbe).

During the audience with the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Ambassador of Ukraine Vasyl M. Servatiuk and President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest and promising areas of Ukrainian-Afghan cooperation.
