On March 29, a delegation of Ukrainian offials in the field of education, headed by the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy M. Shkarlet, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan to promote Ukrainian education on the territory of Tajikistan.

On March 30, the grand opening of the 1st International Exhibition "Study in Ukraine" took place in the main building of the Tajik Agrarian University named after Shirinshokh Shotemur .

Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Makhmadyusuf S. Imomzoda, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy M. Shkarlet and Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Tajikistan Vasyl M. Servatiuk addressed the audience with a welcoming speeches.

The exhibition of Ukrainian education aroused great interest of the Tajik public, as evidenced by the large number of participants.

Also, a forum of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan – graduates of Ukrainian Universities was held at the Faculty of Agribusiness of the Tajik Agrarian University under the chairmanship of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the events, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine presented departmental awards to the citizens of the Republic of Tatarstan, who made a significant contribution to the popularization of Ukrainian education in Tajikistan and to the development of Ukrainian-Tajik relations in general.

The events were accompanied by the performance of Ukrainian folklore by the trio "Baida", who specially arrived in Dushanbe as part of the Ukrainian delegation.
