On 08.09.2020 the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 02.09.2020 No. 791 "On amendments to paragraph 10-1 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 22, 2020 No. 641" was published.

This government decision clarified some aspects of entry to Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons in the period up to 28.09.2020:

- expanded the list of relatives of Ukrainian citizens who can cross the border - from now on, the entry ban also does not apply to persons who are the grandmother or grandfather of a citizen of Ukraine;

- entry is prohibited for foreigners and stateless persons who are traveling through the territory of Ukraine in transit. This change does not apply to drivers, crew members, and the like, since persons in this category are subject to a separate exception to the entry ban;

- the category of people traveling to Ukraine for the purpose of training is specified - entry of persons who are sent to study in higher education institutions is allowed.

Important to know:

For the duration of the quarantine until 00: 00 hours. 28.09.2020 entry into Ukraine of foreigners and stateless persons is prohibited, except for persons who:

1) is one of the spouses, parents, children, grandparents of a citizen of Ukraine;

2) arrive in Ukraine for the purpose of studying in higher education institutions;

3) perform military service in the Armed Forces;

4) permanently or temporarily reside on the territory of Ukraine and have a permanent residence permit or a residence permit;

5) recognized as refugees or persons in need of additional protection;

6) have a work permit for foreigners and stateless persons;

7) are employees of diplomatic missions and consular offices of foreign States, representative offices of official international missions, organizations accredited in Ukraine, and members of their families;

8) are heads and members of official delegations of foreign States, employees of international organizations, as well as persons who accompany them, and enter Ukraine at the invitation of the President of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, The office of the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of foreign Affairs;

9) are persons arriving in Ukraine at the invitation of the Ministry of foreign Affairs;

10) are drivers and / or crew members of cargo vehicles, buses that carry out regular transportation, crew members of air, sea and river vessels, members of train and locomotive crews;

11) are instructors of the armed forces of NATO member States and member States of the NATO Partnership for peace program, who take part in training events for units of the Armed Forces or arrive at the invitation of the Ministry of defense;

12) are cultural figures who arrive at the invitation of a cultural institution together with one person accompanying each of them;

13) arrive to participate in official sports competitions held on the territory of Ukraine, and their accompanying persons;

14) are technical specialists who arrive in Ukraine at the invitation of representatives of Ukrainian enterprises;

15) are persons engaged in the transportation of hematopoietic stem cells for transplantation;

16) arrive for treatment in healthcare institutions of Ukraine.
